How Contractors Use Process States

Process States are used to provide updates about how the work order is progressing

This article is for FMI Works users who have been given access to the Contractor Portal

Process States are associated with a Work Order Status. They enable the capture of additional details about the progress of the work order.

Some common uses for Process States are:

When the contractor arrives on site, the contractor can update the process state to let the FM team know work has commenced.
When the contractor has completed the work order, the contractor can let the FM team know work has been completed by updating the process state.

The Process State drop down option is displayed on the Work Order.

Select Update Job to update the Process State.

Select from the Process State drop down and Save.
