The status of a work order is used to manage how and when work will be actioned, as well as updating requesters on the progress of work. ![](https://help.fmiworks.com/hubfs/image-png-Feb-17-2022-05-32-38-06-AM.png) ### **When to use the 'Safety Review' status** Following your organisation's processes, confirm whether the request requires a safety review process be undertaken before the work order is moved to 'Work in Progress'.    ### Moving a work order to Safety Review The 'Safety Review' status is available for work orders with the status of 'New Request' and 'Scheduled'.  After selecting status 'Safety Review',you will be prompted to add the reason for the safety check. ![](https://help.fmiworks.com/hubfs/image-png-Feb-11-2022-04-39-32-65-AM.png) ### What happens next? If configured, a work order status change email notification will be sent to notify the relevant parties of the work order’s closure.
